Frequently asked questions
Who comes on your yoga retreats?
Our feel good retreats are designed for people looking to take a break from everyday life and discovering the pleasure of enjoying the small things in life, connecting with their mind & body through yoga & life rich experiences. We have friends, sisters, mother/daughters duos, sometimes couples and lots of solo travelers. If you are coming on your own you will not be alone!
Coming with someone who is not a yogi?
For a fully immersive and carefree experience all of our activities are included in our package yet optional. Any guest choosing not to participate in our yoga sessions will still have a wonderfully relaxing and stimulating holiday. They will be able to partake in any of our exploratory activities, ranging from architecture walking tours to wine tastings, and during down time to simply relax by the pool, go on walks or visit the spa in residence for a wellness treatment.
What types of yoga do you cover?
In the mornings we practice a dynamic flow to invigorate the body & mind, combining strength, mobility and breath work. The late afternoon / evening class is a restorative, slow flowing class with some elements of Yin Yoga, dedicated to releasing and relaxing the body & mind. What the practices have in common is focus on the connection with yourself and your surroundings.
What about varying levels of yoga and experience?
Our retreats are open to people with all levels of yoga experience and physical ability. We keep our groups small allowing plenty of personal interaction and guidance from our instructor to help you deepen your practice.
Are mats and props provided?
Many of us find comfort in practicing on our own mats and as such we recommend that you bring your mat along. However should you choose to travel without a mat spare mats will be available. Ideally please let us know if you plan to use a spare one.
Is every class / activity mandatory?
All our activities, including yoga, are optional.
What is covered in the cost?
The retreat offers a full sensory experience blending yoga, nourishing food, cultural enriching experiences and wellness as part of an all-inclusive package. This covers our classes, accommodation, food, activities and local transfers. Flights, personal insurance and any additional personal excursions are not covered. Spa treatments can be booked at an additional cost. For a full list of what’s included visit the Booking page.
What if I have any special dietary requirements?
We cater to all dietary requirements. Our chef creates seasonal specific menus using the freshest of ingredients and can work around your individual needs. We kindly ask that you inform us of any special dietary requirements on booking.
What should I pack?
A list of recommended items will be provided in your Welcome Pack. Please contact us if you are unsure about any particular items.
Do I need money /cash?
With all activities included you may only need money for little things such as souvenirs, drinks / snacks you may wish to purchase outside of the villa and any other activities you plan outside our group ones. If you wish to take out money best to do it at an ATM at the airport after collecting baggage or during our city tour in Lecce.
